Our Philosophy

Devonshire Elementary is committed to creating a caring and student-centred learning community. Devonshire is committed to providing, through purposeful teaching, opportunities for all students to achieve their personal best academically and socially. We actively support students to become confident, resourceful and responsible citizens.

Devonshire is committed to continuous improvement in teaching and learning. Through the work of our school, we strive to provide feedback to evaluate student learning, support their social and emotional development, and engage the community in our shared ownership of our students. 

Parental involvement is actively sought and vital to the success of our students at Devonshire Elementary.  Parents are encouraged to participate in our School Improvement Team, our PTO, volunteer in our school and in classrooms, and to partner with us with programming. 

Quick Facts 

Devonshire is a learning facility providing instruction to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Students are provided learning through the use of traditional instruction, including the use of classroom technology tools, iPads, Chromebooks, and more.
